Aswathama Movie Review and rating-2020

Ganga (Naga Shaurya) returns to India for his sister's engagement. When the function is about to happen, her sister tries to kill herself. Gan saves her and flirtatiously reveals that she is pregnant and the father of her child is unknown. A helpless Shaurya starts an investigation into the case and eventually catches the culprit. How does he perform all these forms for the rest of the story?

Plus and Minus points :

Naga Shaurya makes a terrible change from a loving boy to an action hero. His screen presence, body language, and performance in fights and emotional scenes are very good. He looks like a macho in an action avatar it so difficult to watch and he proves that he can also carry an entire action film on his shoulders. All his scenes with his sister are very good.

Mehreen doesn't have much to do but plays a good supporting role. The biggest attraction is the action episode and Interval Bang and sets Interval Bang perfectly. Prince was effective in his small role and was, therefore, another artist of the film.

The first half has adrenaline-pumping moments and handles them quite well. The biggest attraction of the film is Bengali actor Jishu Sen Gupta. He is on the second level and brings a frightening effect to the proceedings. The way he is brought into the film and the way Jishu performs is very good.

Special mention is made of the action choreography which is on spot and is well executed. BGM by Ghibaran is top-notch and enhances the proceedings quite well. Family feelings are decent.
There is so much tension in the first half as to who is behind the crime and this turn comes just after the interval. Things could have been a bit longer to maintain suspense. Because of this movie, the rest of those film becomes an predictable.

Also, after facing a lot of stress to find the villain in the first half, the protagonist finds him in the final fifteen minutes with a small clue that looks a bit over the top.

The villain has good moments in the second half, but the hero-villain is confronted by the audience and ends in one stroke. A few more investigative scenes and action episodes may have made matters even more special.
