Storyline: 

Babu Mohan (Mr. Simha) is a courier boy by profession. Troubled by his poor life, he decides to cheat his customers and make money. He targets a special apartment for his loot and when he manages to rob a woman, he dies at a stop. Who is this lady? Did Babu kill him? Will he be arrested? And how he gets out of this crazy mess is the whole story of the film.

Plus points:

1. One of the biggest plus points of the film is the director and his dealings. Ritesh Rana makes a great debut as he has a good way of telling a simple story with ample entertainment. For the most part, the suspense in the film is fairly well generated.
2. Comedian Satya as his comedy is a show theft that keeps the audience hooked throughout the film. The way he speaks those one-liners and brings a different kind of comedy to tense moments is just brilliant. 
3. Vanella Kishore gets an interesting role and gives her touch as usual. Vidyalekha was clean in her comedy and also Brahma. The first half is quite entertaining and the way the director depicts a TV serial scenario in moments of tension is well thought out.
4. Last but not least, Mr. Simha made an impressive debut. He seems well trained for his first film and can go much further if he chooses films based on good concepts and does not fall into the commercial trap.

 MinusPoint:

1.  The director has been taken a lot of time to narrate the main story. Too many scenes are ruined to establish the hero and his life. In addition, once suspense is detected, the film becomes predictable.
2.  There is some logic that goes missing in the film. Everything happens in a high profile building but not many people know about it. It looks a little over the top.

Technical view and Assets :

The production values ​​of the film are clean. Kala Bhairava makes an impressive debut as a music director. His BGM is quite impressive as the sound design is quite innovative. The dialogues written for Satya are hilarious. The camera is really impressive because the use of color tones looks cool.

Coming to director Ritesh, the way his thriller tells the story is very good. Their thought process is impressive and the way they make their world of narrating a scene is great.

A thriller in Telugu cinema is often left untold and leaves you with many unanswered questions, or worse, those that answer in an irrational way. But director Ritesh Rana's Mathu Vadalara is a film that will make you satisfied. From the first shot itself, the film clings to the story. The director deserves praise for choosing his story for his debut and behaving like a pro.

Babu (Sri Simha) and Yesu (Satya) struggle to pay their house rent. But his plan to make more money got Babu in trouble, bringing Abhi (Naresh Agastya) to lend for help. A heinous crime is committed elsewhere there, and the way Ritesh connects these points shows how well he worked on the script. By the end of the first half, a freshness leaves one curious about the second half of the film.

In addition to the entertaining plot, the hilarious gags in the film are spot-on. Yasu is well written and Satya understood it easily. He proved how elated he can be with a well-crafted character in this film.  in the movie second half is crucial where the film takes some serious turns. The drug set-up looks realistic. The film appears to be slowing down in the pre-climax, but Ritesh makes it with a surprising climax. Many slow-motion shots are a test of your patience, but the humor employed in critical situations makes thriller and comedy as delicious as a cheesecake.

Mr. Simha, son of MM Keeravani gave a good performance. He looks natural in his rude appearance and fingernail scenes, requiring him to show feelings such as fear or anger. He has a long way to go, but he makes an impressive debut, showing his ability. Satya and Naresh are the main assets of the film, the latter giving a steady performance showing several shades. Kala Bhairav's BGM is appealing and is up to cinematography standards.

Mathu Vadalara is definitely a worthy watch, it will not waste your time or energy. The film has definitely turned out to be a decent and entertaining thriller made this year. Despite being similar to some Hollywood drug dramas in the film, it doesn't bother you. This is a perfect Christmas clock.
